How Much are Del Webb Homes?

If you've been searching for Active Adult Communities, you have most likely come across the name ‘Del Webb’. Del Webb is an active adult life-style community developer with over 6 decades of homebuilding experience for age-restricted communities. 

In this video, I am going to examine two prominent 55 Plus gated communities developed by Del Webb - Del Webb Charleston, also referred to as Del Webb at Cane Bay and Del Webb Nexton - and see why you should be looking forward to buying yourself a home in these neighborhoods. I will also provide you with estimates of how much Del Webb homes are selling for in these adult communities. Let’s start with Del Webb Charleston.

Then, there is Del Webb Nexton. It is also an active adult community with sales scheduled to kick-off in September, 2017. This adult community spreads across a 350-acre piece of land. Del Webb Nexton will offer 1,000 single-family homes upon completion with prices ranging from the mid $200,000s to the  mid $500,000s. 

Residents will take advantage of the best amenities for the 55 plus community in this neighborhood, including a stylish 25,000 square-foot clubhouse for social and recreational activities. In this community, there will be indoor and outdoor pools, modern fitness center, walking and biking trails, as well as tennis courts.   

In partnership with Pulte Homes in Charleston, Del Webb Nexton first phase pre-sales of homes will be available beginning in September, 2017 and residents are expected to move in beginning early 2018. You can be sure to get a home that suits your budget and style.

Charleston SC Selling or Buying in 2016?

With the housing inventory at a low point in the Charleston SC area, it might be wise to shop early if buying a home. As the heat of the buying season begins, you may get into bidding wars due to the shortage which will drive the price up. I suggest to go home shopping now where you may find a deal or too. Some homes that are vacant and have been on the market for 4 months or more could be snatched up for prices way below asking price.

On the flip side, if selling, as the Spring season is the time when most sellers put their homes on the market, this year I think the optimal time to list will be April to June when the herd of buyers will be out and you will get the highest value for your home. Let's hope you get a few buyers interested and your home gets bid up way above your asking price!
